After the success of her debut album, One of the Boys, Katy Perry's back, sexier than ever, with her second treat, Teenage Dream, which was released on 24th of August, and although Katy is no longer a teenager herself, this one promises to be another success for the "I kissed a girl" singer considering the album's debut at #1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and her two consecutive number 1 hits, California Gurls, and her latest single, Teenage dream. This time, Katy has gone the extra mile to show everyone that she is no longer of the boys (If you have seen her music videos, you'll know what I mean!). As for the album itself, Katy said it is very much influence by Queen Alanis Morissette. Apparently she wants to make a record that makes people jump up and down! I don't know about you, but if we talk about the beats of California Gurls, I find it hard not to move when I hear it!

And for those Smurfs fans out there, Miss California Gurls will lend her voice to the character of Smufette along with big comedy stars including George Lopez and Neil Patrick Harris for the upcoming 2011 3D animation production of The Smurf. Personally, i think this just takes Katy to another level of hotness!

Lastly, I know this may not come out as any big surprise, but fyi, Katy has announced that her own cat-shaped bottle fragrance, "Purr" (I know! The girl is all about it!), will be out in autumn of this year.
